The practice was established in 2000 working mainly for London
based private clients offering an individual service founded around each specific set of requirements. Work experience stretches across new build and refurbishment levels
within the residential and commercial sectors. We offer full and selective architectural services and have extensive experience in the requirements of Listed Building and Conservation Area projects.
Our work ethic is one of a direct and ’hands on’ attitude that allows for positive and direct interaction with the construction projects at physical and management levels. We can also offer planning appeal services, party wall services and act as an expert witness providing reports in respect of defective design and workmanship in accordance with Civil Procedure Rules.
judd. architecture ltd. is based in Maidstone, Kent from where we work for clients principally throughout London and the South East, however our work has taken us out into Essex and as far as Yorkshire, since formation.
The practice became a limited company in 2003 and it benefits from associations with mechanical and electrical consultant family members who can offer advice and inputs at given points of requirement.
Our professional services include involvement in the following areas:
Architectural scheme design and detail design incorporating drawings and specifications. We utilise CAD and 3-dimensional design formats including associated photographic visualisation.
Contract administration including cost analysis, inspections and associated meetings for projects designed inside and outside our practice.
Design work for residential and commercial properties
Design works and assessments relating to Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas including liaison with Estate Freehold Ownership Organisations.
Planning applications and associated planning appeals.
Development advice including feasibility studies.
Interior design development
Since establishment, instructions have been received from individual end users, developers and commercial organisations. Work has varied in size from contact values below £20K up to £3.6m. We have worked on property values ranging from £100K to £21m and we have worked for a range of private clients developing and improving their properties and our select client base enjoys confidence in our integrity and application to task.
We treat each client as an individual with requirements that are equally individual and specific. Such applies whether relating to residential needs or bespoke business strategies. We also provide a service that endeavours to understand the importance of the fundamental issues at stake and we try to share in the understanding of the overall reason for our work, applying ourselves to the tasks without compromise.
We have enjoyed repeat work from many clients and we can claim client relationships that extend beyond ten years. We believe in maintaining prolonged relationships and serving our clients providing a degree of comfort that is seldom matched.
